Willow Prairie Horse Camp
Willow Prairie Horse Camp is tucked among the trees along the West Branch of Willow Creek in the Rogue-Siskiyou National Forest.
The equestrian site is about 4 miles northwest of Fish Lake. Nearby are beaver ponds and wetlands teeming with wildlife such as elk, deer, sandhill cranes, and Canada geese. Nineteen miles of maintained horseback riding trails branch out in several directions from the camp. Beautiful Mt. McLoughlin rises off to the northeast.
Willow Prairie Horse Camp provides 10 large campsites for those with horses. Each site has corrals for from 2 to 4 horses, a picnic table and campfire ring with a grill. A watering trough for horses is available and a trailer is on-site so campers can deposit manure and hay before they leave.
