Fish Lake Campground
Fish Lake Campground rests on the north shore of Fish Lake, 39 miles east of Medford. Campers at Fish Lake enjoy wonderful fishing from shore and boat. Fish Lake has a 10 MPH speed limit. Hikers set out on trails to nearby lakes and into the Sky Lakes Wilderness. Fish Lake is popular for swimming and standup paddleboarding around the shoreline (when the water is calm).
Fish Lake Campground is spread through a forest of pines and firs. Some of the 20 campsites have lake views. Three sites are walk-in, tent camping sites along the shore of the lake. The remainder of the sites are set a short distance inland and can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Campsites are well-separated. Reservations are available for this campground.
Directions: Reach the campground by taking Highway 62 north from Medford, and then east on Highway 140 to Fish Lake and Fish Lake Campground. Doe Point Campground is nearby. The campground is within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and is operated by a concessionaire, Rogue Recreation.
