Eagle Rock Campground
Eagle Rock Campground is along the North Umpqua River in the Umpqua National Forest, 50 miles east of Roseburg. Known as a quiet retreat, Eagle Rock is set in a forest of old-growth Douglas fir and deciduous trees. Visitors enjoy hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and fishing, while many are drawn to the unique geologic formations in the area. Eagle Rock Campground has 28 campsites. Of those, 16 sites may be reserved ahead of time, the others are first-come, first-served. Most of the campsites offer easy access to the river. Two campsites are doubles. There is no potable water at the campground.
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
