Steamboat Falls Campground rests on the bank of Steamboat Creek in Umpqua National Forest. The campground is several miles upstream from the creek's confluence with the North Umpqua River. Campers at Steamboat Falls enjoy watching salmon and steelhead trout leaping up the falls. There is no fishing allowed in Steamboat Creek.

Steamboat Falls Campground has 7 campsites which can accommodate small RVs, trailers, and tents and another 3 campsites designated for tents only. Towering trees provide plenty of shade throughout the campground. There is no potable water at the campground. All sites are first-come, first-served.

Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.

In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
