Still Creek Campground
Still Creek Campground is south of Mt. Hood near Government Camp in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The campground makes an excellent base from which to explore the attractions around Mt. Hood. Nearby Timberline ski area offers great mountain biking, scenic chairlift rides, and many hiking trails. Fishing is excellent in Still Creek.
Still Creek Campground features 27 campsites in a meadow area not far off Highway 26. Ten sites can accommodate RVs, trailers and tents, while another 17 are for tents only. A lush forest of mixed conifers surrounds the campground. A dense understory of bushes provides good privacy between sites. The music of the creek spreads through the campground.
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
