Millpond Campground rests along Rock Creek, 5 miles upstream from the North Umpqua River. The small campground has a surprising array of facilities in the adjoining day-use area, including a softball field, playground, pavilion, and a swimming area. Fishing is not allowed in Rock Creek, and only fly fishing is permitted in the North Umpqua. Nature trails and hiking trails connect to the campground.
Millpond Campground has 12 beautiful, forested campsites for RVs, trailers and tents. All except site #1 are wheelchair accessible. All the facilities and many trails in this well-maintained campground are also accessible. Campsites are all first-come, first-served. However, the pavilion may be reserved for group use during the day (which also includes use of the softball field).
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
Accessible Sites
Designated Accessible sites are reserved for people with disabilities who have a vehicle displaying an accessible parking placard or license plate
