Whistler's Bend Co. Park Campground
Whistler's Bend County Park is along the North Umpqua River, 15 miles northeast of Roseburg. The 147-acre park is set in a mixture of forest and meadow at a large bend in the river. Park visitors are often seen fishing, hiking, or challenging their skills on the park's disc golf course.
Whistler's Bend County Park Campground features 45 family campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. The 45 sites are divided into lower and upper sections. The lower section is composed of 20 sites among the trees along the river. The upper section's 25 campsites are set a little father back among the trees. Among them are sites #36 - #47 with full hook-ups. The campground showers are located by the upper camping section. Site #33 is a first-come, first served site. All the rest may be reserved ahead of time.
Whistler's Bend now has 5 yurts avaiable. A minimum 2-night booking stay is required. Some yurts have valley views while others overlook the river.
