Windy Cove County RV Parks and Campgrounds (A & B) are virtually side by side, facing Salmon Harbor at the mouth of the Umpqua River.

The village of Winchester Bay is within easy walking distance from the campgrounds. Visitors to the campgrounds enjoy beach combing, fishing, and nearby attractions such as the Umpqua Lighthouse and the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.

Windy Cove County Park Campgrounds will accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. The campgrounds have both hook-up sites and non-hook-up sites; reversible as well as first-come, first-served sites. Campsites are spread across a nicely maintained grassy area but with little separation between sites. Cabins are also available to rent ($70 per night).

Campground A has 29 campsites arranged in a single loop. Sites 1 - 25 have full hook-ups while sites 26 - 29 have only electric hook-ups.
Campground B offers 69 campsites around 2 loops and 1 short spur. Campsites 1 - 40 have full hook-ups, while 41 - 69 are non-hook-up sites.

Key Windy Cove County Park Campground Regulations

  1. Camping Unit: any unit that is used for sleeping, such as a motorhome, 5th wheel, tent, camper van, pickup with canopy or camper.
  2. Sleeping bags are no allowed outside the camping unit.
  3. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No generators may be operated during those hours.
  4. Dogs must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
