Honeyman State Park Campground
Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park is mid-way along the Oregon coast, 3 miles south of Florence. A 2-mile-long swath of sand dunes separates the park from the Pacific Ocean.
Two lakes within the park provide plenty of recreation opportunities. Cleawox Lake is popular for swimming, while Woahink Lake is a favorite for fishing, boating, and water skiing. Spring visitors enjoy pink rhododendrons in bloom while fall visitors can pick huckleberries and blackberries.
Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park Campground has more than 350 campsites. Forty-five of the sites have full hook-ups, while another 120 have electric and water hook-ups. More than 185 sites are well suited for tent camping. In addition, there are 10 Yurts, a hiker/bicyclist site, and 6 seasonal Group Tent Camping Areas.
