Lobster Creek Campground
Lobster Creek Campground is along the bank of the Rogue River in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The campground is only 10 miles east of Gold Beach, making for easy day trips to the beach. Campers at Lobster Creek find good fishing from the gravel bar along the river's edge. Upward cast eyes may be rewarded by sightings of eagles and osprey.
Lobster Creek Campground has 7 campsites. Three sites are designated for tents, while the remaining 4 can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Reach the campground by driving east from Gold Beach on County Road 595, then onto Forest Road 33.
Note: This not the nearby Curry County Lobster Creek Camp which has mostly cabins along with a few RV camping sites.
