Roaring River Campground

Roaring River Campground sits along the Roaring River near its confluence with the Clackamas rivers in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Many choose the campground for its proximity to outstanding whitewater rafting. The Fish Creek launch site is a short distance downstream. Fishing is good for Coho salmon, steelhead, and Chinook salmon, along with other freshwater fish. A hiking trail into the Roaring River Wilderness leads out from the campground.

Roaring River Campground has 14 campsites, most designated for tents. Some sites are suitable for small RVs and trailers. Mature cedars spread plenty of shade over the campground. Some sites are available first-come, first-served; but most campsites can be reserved prior to arrival.
