Mt. Hood National Forest

Lazy Bend Campground

Lazy Bend Campground rests along the Clackamas River in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Anglers have good success fishing for winter steelhead, spring Chinook and late summer Coho salmon, along with other freshwater fish. Experienced rafters and kayakers are drawn to whitewater sections of the river. Swimming is attractive when water levels are safe.

Lazy Bend Campground has 21 campsites on 2 loops near the river. Five sites can accommodate tents or RVs, while the other 16 sites are for tents only. Some sites are available first-come, first-served; but most can be reserved prior to arrival. A dense forest provides ample shade.
