Frog Lake Campground
Frog Lake Campground is found on the north end of pretty little Frog Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The campground is off Highway 26, 8 miles south of Government Camp. Good hiking trails are found nearby. Only non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake. A ramp is nearby. Several area lakes are worthy of day trips, such as Trillium Lake and Clear Lake.
Frog Lake Campground has 23 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Another 9 campsites are for tents only. Most sites can be reserved ahead of arrival, but several are kept aside as first-come, first-served sites. Nearly all the campsites have good shade.
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates for some campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths.
