Lodgepole Guard Station

Lodgepole Guard Station is a Forest Service cabin in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, only 37 miles south of Crater Lake National Park (shown above). The rustic cabin is located deep in the forest east of Prospect, beside pretty Lodgepole Meadow and Lodgepole Creek. With 40 acres of cross-fenced pasture available to guests who rent the cabin, it makes a wonderful retreat for large groups and for those with horses. The guard station is also favored for smaller gatherings of friends or a family.
