Trout Creek Campground

Trout Creek Campground is along the South Santiam River in the Willamette National Forest, 7 miles east of Cascadia. Fishing is good in the river. Visitors to the campground enjoy viewing historic structures left over from the Civilian Conservation Corps days. Good hiking trails are nearby. To the west is the Long Ranch Elk Viewing area.

Trout Creek Campground has 24 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Two campsites are doubles and can accommodate up to 12 people rather than the usual 8. The campground is spread through a wooded landscape with lichen and moss-draped alder, maple, and Douglas fir. Ferns grow abundantly among the sites. Seventeen campsites front the river.
