Trapper Creek Campground
Trapper Creek Campground is on the northwestern shore of Odell Lake in the Deschutes National Forest.
Views of Diamond Peak across the lake can be enjoyed from the campground. Many visitors to Trapper Creek take advantage of the great fishing in Odell Lake. Anglers seek out kokanee salmon, mackinaw trout, and brown trout. A boat launch ramp is in the campground. The campground is near Shelter Cove Resort & Marina, which offers boat rentals and a restaurant.
Trapper Creek Campground has 29 secluded campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Three of the campsites are multiples (or doubles) which can accommodate 12 people and 2 vehicles. Many of the campsites can be reserved while some are kept available as first-come, first-served sites. The campsites have plenty of shade from a mature forest for pine and fir. A small stream passes the campground and feeds into Odell lake.
