Wrangle Campground
Wrangle Campground is high at the headwaters of Glade Creek in the Siskiyou Mountains, 34 miles southwest of Jacksonville. The little campground is favored by hikers on the Pacific Crest Trail and by campers who enjoy the wonderful views from the area. Nearby is a cabin built by the Soil Conservation Service in the 1930s. A rustic shelter erected by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936 is still in use.
Wrangle Campground has 5 tent campsites in a pretty setting among mature Shasta red firs. The campsites are first-come, first-served. The campground has no potable water.
