Little Lava Lake Campground
Little Lava Lake Campground rests beside 130-acre Little Lava Lake and next door to Lava Lake in the Deschutes National Forest west of Bend. Both lakes are part of the Cascade Lakes chain. Little Lava Lake is the source of the Deschutes River. Little Lave Lake is popular with anglers seeking trout. Float tubes are favored by many fishermen.
Little Lava Lake Campground has 15 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Campsites are shaded by a mature forest of lodgepole pines. While many sites can be reserved ahead of arrival, others are kept as first-come, first-served campsites. One site has a pull-through driveway and 4 are described as waterfront. One campsite is a double. Little Lava Lake Campground also has one tents-only, group site which can accommodate up to 30 people and 4 vehicles.
