Oxbow Regional Park Campground

Oxbow Regional Park is along the Sandy River a few miles from the Columbia River Gorge east of Portland. The park is operated by Metro Regional Parks and Greenspaces. Visitors to the 1,200-acre park enjoy fishing, non-motorized boating, and swimming in the Sandy River. Fifteen miles of hiking trails wind through park. Many come to the park during a spectacle of the salmon run in the fall. The park includes a wonderful playground.

Oxbow Regional Park Campground features 74 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. A dozen of the sites are pull-throughs for RVs or trailers only. Oxbow has two group camping areas for nonprofit youth organizations, such as scouts and church groups.

Oxbow Regional Park Group Campsites

Oxbow Regional Park Campground includes 2 group camps for nonprofit youth organizations, such as scouts and church groups. Group Camp 1 can accommodate up to 150 people. Visitors can drive to this area. Campfires are permitted in provided fire rings.

Group Camp 2 is a walk-in site for tents only. It can accommodate up to 25 people. Visitors must carry their gear a quarter mile or more to the site. Campfires are not permitted there, but propane stoves are allowed.
Fees: $2.50 per person (minimum of $50 for Camp 1 and $25 for Camp 2)
Reservations are required.
