Sandhill Crossing Campground is 29 miles southwest of Paisley in the Fremont-Winema National Forest.

Fishing is good in the area, and an abundance of hiking, mountain biking and equestrian trails spread out over the region. The nearby Lee Thomas Trailhead connects to several scenic routes. In the fall the campground is popular with hunters.

Sandhill Crossing Campground has 5 campsites which can accommodate tents, RVs, or trailers. All the campsites are first-come, first served. The campground overlooks the North Fork of the Wild and Scenic Sprague River in a lodgepole pine and meadow setting.

"From Paisley, take Highway 31 north toward Silver Lake, OR and turn left on County Highway 2-08, Mill Street, and continue right on Forest Service (FS) Road 3315. At its junction with FS Road 28, turn left. Then at FS Road 3411, turn right and continue to the campground."
